The U.K. Ministry of Defense published a video Saturday on Twitter showing how its precision-guided missiles Brimstone 2 were loaded into an RAF plane to be sent to Ukraine.
The tweet says the shipment is part of the U.K.’s aid package which “has played a crucial role in stalling Russian advances.”
Brimstone 2 was originally designed for use from aircraft for air-to-ground strikes but Ukrainian ground forces are successfully using the missiles to attack targets such as armored vehicles and tanks, according to the video.
🎬 As part of its aid package, the UK has provided Brimstone 2 missiles, a precision-guided missile, to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This aid has played a crucial role in stalling Russian advances.
