Russia continues barbaric Iranian drone attacks on Ukraine

Today, Russian terrorists dealt another blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

“Five drone strikes were recorded in Kyiv. Energy facilities and a residential building were damaged. The aggressor also launched rocket attacks on critical infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy Oblasts. Hundreds of populated areas were cut off as a result of the attack,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.

“The destroyed building cannot be restored; people were left without a roof over their heads,” UNIAN quoted Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. According to the Mayor, the bodies of the three dead have already been found, and rescuers continue to clear the debris. So far, 19 people have been rescued from the destroyed building.

He also said that 28 kamikaze drones were flying toward Kyiv, but most of them were shot down. There were only five explosions in Kyiv.

Later, Nadiya Maksymets, the spokeswoman of the Kyiv prosecutor’s office, reported that there was a fourth person killed in the capital as a result of earlier drone attacks.

Russia also launched three cruise missiles at Kyiv, but all three were shot down by Ukrainian air defense, one of advisers to the Office of the President of Ukraine said.

At least three people were killed and nine were injured as a result of an early morning attack by three rockets in the Sumy region, according to the report of the head of the Sumy Regional Government Dmytro Zhyvytsky.

In general, according to the Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrsky on the air of the telethon, “Ukraine was attacked by 42 drones this morning, 36 of them were shot down,” Ukrinform reports.
