Two theaters of one war: Kuleba on Israel and Ukraine

Ukraine and Israel are two theaters of the same war, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba at a press conference with OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani. On the other side of the front line are the same actors – Russia and Iran, the diplomat said.

“Well, we believe that Ukraine and Israel are two theaters of the same war. This is the conclusion we reach when we look at who stands on the other side of the front line and see the same actors. We see Russia, we see Iran, and that leaves very little room for another interpretation,” the minister said.

The partners make it clear to Kyiv that support to Ukraine will continue, and “support to Israel will begin in the light of events on the ground,” the minister said. “We cannot afford to lose in any of these conflicts,” the minister emphasized.

The world is full of crises that follow one after the other, Kuleba believes. “But new crises should not overshadow previous crises because everything in the world is interdependent,” the diplomat concluded.

Previously, Petr Fiala, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, stated that the future of Western civilization and its basic values – respect for human life and respect for the civilian population – are at stake in Ukraine and Israel.
