Ukrainian World Congress calls for NATO and its member countries to effectively help Ukraine defend its people and territory
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls upon NATO and its member countries to offer military assistance to Ukraine to enable it to overcome Russia’s brazen escalation of aggression and terrorist actions.
In light of the most recent events, including the incredible seizure by Kremlin-backed militants of a bus carrying orphans and the destruction of an army transport plane with the killing of all military personnel onboard, Ukraine immediately needs military equipment to defend its people and territory.
The UWC also calls on NATO and its member countries to offer Ukraine to conduct military exercises on Ukrainian soil to demonstrate the unwavering commitment of the international community to the inviolability of Ukraine’s borders.
“Ukraine’s population and ill-equipped armed forces are under increasing attack ,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij. “In the interest of global peace and security, NATO and its member countries must provide Ukraine with the military equipmentnecessary to push back Russia’spersistent aggression in violation of its basic international commitments.”
