On 15 March 2016, the Parliament of Ukraine adopted the Law on electronic declarations in accordance with the European Union (EU) Plan of Action to liberalize the visa regime for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) welcomes this legislation on electronic declarations by Ukraine’s public servants of assets, revenues, disbursements and financial obligations and, in turn, calls upon the EU to liberalize the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens.
“The liberalization of the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens is an important step in realizing their aspirations for Euro-integration and it will benefit Ukraine and EU-member states alike,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
