The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) draws the attention of the international community to the recent escalation of aggression in the Donbas, Ukraine, by Russia-backed terrorists.
Since 1 November 2015 the shelling of both military positions and residential areas in the Donbas has intensified according to reports by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine. At least seven Ukrainian servicemen have been killed.
“As the attention of the world is drawn to other regions the Ukrainian World Congress urges the international community to continue monitoring and fully assess the violations of the Minsk agreements, and to sustain pressure on the Russian Federation to stop sponsoring terrorism in Eastern Ukraine and adhere to its international commitments,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
