The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) reiterates its call for the Netherlands to unblock the full and unconditional ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement as Ukrainians around the world prepare to mark the third anniversary of EuroMaidan on 21 November 2016.
The events of EuroMaidan precipitated by the refusal by former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to sign the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement launched a new chapter in the history books as an act of unprecedented consolidation of the Ukrainian nation in its aspiration to live in an independent, democratic and European state.
The UWC calls upon all Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world to actively support the appeal for the full and unconditional ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement by the Netherlands by joining a social media campaign in the lead up to the third anniversary of EuroMaidan.
- Show support for the UWC appeal by sharing the attached image as widely as possible via social media networks and encourage your followers to do the same.
- Raise awareness by including the hashtag #NetherlandsWithUkraine in all social media posts.
“The full and unconditional ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement is in the best interests of the EU, including the Netherlands, and Ukraine,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
