UWC welcomes another step in visa liberalisation for Ukrainian citizens
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) welcomes the announcement on 15 May 2013 that the liberalisation of visas for Ukrainian citizens travelling to European Union member states will come into effect on 1 July 2013.
Amendments to the Agreement between the European Community and Ukraine on the facilitation of the issuance of visas was ratified by the European Parliament on 18 April 2013.
“This will be an important factor in strengthening Ukraine’s Euro-integration process and another clear signal that the European Union is truly welcoming Ukrainian citizens into the European community,” said UWC President Eugene Czolij.
