Daily Star mentions Unite With Ukraine in article about aerial battles

A recent article for the leading British newspaper Daily Star stated that a real revolution in aerial warfare is taking place in the Ukrainian skies. Thanks to the Army of Drones project, a video of an aerial duel between a Ukrainian kamikaze drone and a much more expensive Russian DJI Matrice 30 UAV has been posted online. The Ukrainian drone confidently defeated the enemy, which significantly weakened the Russians’ intelligence capabilities in this area. 

Previously, such hostilities were conducted between pilots of airplanes and helicopters, but now they are also conducted between operators of drones and UAVs. 

The war in Ukraine has demonstrated to the world that skillful use of such equipment can be a decisive factor in success on the battlefield.  The Army of Drones project was created to strengthen this area. 

“To make the Ukrainian military stronger and save thousands of defender lives, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian presidential fundraising platform UNITED24 are assembling an Army of Drones in cooperation with the Ukrainian World Congress!” reads a statement by the UWC Daily Star quoted. 

The Ukrainian World Congress and friends of Ukraine from over 70 countries have joined together to raise over $635,00,000 to provide “eyes” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the Army of Drones campaign.
