Relatives of “Azovstal” defenders continue to organize demonstrations in support of heroes

Demonstrations in support of Azovstal defenders took place in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkassy, Ternopil, Lviv, Chernihiv, Kryvyi Rih, Khmelnytskyi, and Dnipro. Rallies continue in European cities as well.

The participants insist that the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross fulfill the guarantees they gave when the defenders left Azovstal and visit the colony in Olenivka to inspect the conditions and the health of the prisoners.

Today it is known that the russians refused all requests of access from international organizations, which is a direct violation of the provisions of the Geneva Convention. The Association of Families of “Azovstal” Defenders stated that such audacity on the part of the aggressor country and its rejection of any laws of warfare must be immediately condemned by the world.
