The British Defense Intelligence: tens of thousands of call-up papers have already been issued in russia

According to the latest Defence Intelligence update on the situation in Ukraine, “The initial tranches of men called up under Russia’s partial mobilization have started arriving at military bases. Many tens of thousands of call-up papers have already been issued.”

The British Ministry of Defense explained that “Typically, one battalion within each Russian brigade will remain in garrison if the other two deploy and can provide a cadre of instructors to train new recruits or augmentees. However, Russia has deployed many of these third battalions to Ukraine.” That is why “many of the drafted troops will deploy to the front line with minimal relevant preparation.

The occupation administration of Crimea announced that they are planning to mobilize 100,000 citizens on the territory of the peninsula. As KrymSOS analyst Yevhen Yaroshenko informs Suspilne, it is the Crimean Tatars who have received 90 percent of summonses during the mobilization.
