Ukrainian World Congress extends greetings on 25th anniversary of Polish Freedom Day
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) extends greetings to the Polish people on the 25th anniversary of Polish Freedom Day.
Poland has demonstrated to the world how a vital democracy can emerge from a history of oppression and totalitarian rule. As the Ukrainian people face continued Russian aggression and terrorism, Poland’s remarkable achievement should strengthen the faith of Ukrainians in their victory as they struggle to protect the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.
“We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Polish people for their unwavering support of Ukraine and congratulate them for the incredible courage that has propelled Poland to becoming a leading nation in the European Union,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
