Ukrainian teachers working at educational centers abroad will be able to participate in the pilot program “Money Follows the Teacher,” a Ministry of Education program that allows educators to independently choose professional development programs on the “Vector” platform.
The International Educational Coordinating Council (IECC) of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) reported this, following the government’s approval of the decision on Sept. 4.
Registration for the pilot has also been extended through the end of October 2026 and is available at the following link.
The program is intended for Ukrainian educators working at Saturday and Sunday schools and other educational centers outside Ukraine, where children study academic subjects or integrated courses covering Ukrainian studies. More than 120 such centers have currently been verified.
As part of the pilot, these educators will have access to a separate professional development track focused on organizing the educational process at educational centers abroad that provide instruction in Ukrainian studies.
This gives Ukrainian teachers abroad a new opportunity for professional development and to choose training that reflects the specific nature of their work.
A practical guide to using the “Vector” platform is available here.
