Ukraine Victory Chronicles: National Guardsman “Pastor”’s story

Mykola, a National Guardsman, is a professional military serviceman who signed a contract in 2001 after his military service, according to the National Guard of Ukraine. However, before the full-scale invasion, the man worked at the factory. The beginning of Russia’s full-scale war on Ukraine he met in the occupation. At the first opportunity, Mykola escaped from the territory captured by the Russians and joined Ukraine’s military. There he chose the call sign “Pastor”.

“I took this call sign because I believe in God. When I took such a call sign, I believed I would help and guide my friends a little. I can do it. My position is company foreman. I have 7 sergeants under my command. I have to be responsible for the property, give it out, keep records, and in fact, I am at war, I asked myself to be with the boys on the front line,” Pastor laughs.
