CALL TO ACTION
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) supports the global action launched by the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations, “Children’s letters to Nadiya”, that calls for children and youth to express solidarity with Nadiya Savchenko, Ukrainian Member of Parliament and delegate to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
This call was made by Vera Savchenko in support of her sister Nadiya, the former Ukrainian Air Force pilot who was illegally detained by Russian authorities on 17 June 2014 and remains imprisoned.
Greetings can also be extended to Nadiya Savchenko on the occasion of her birthday on 11 May.
