Fundraising campaign focuses on providing protective and medical equipment for Ukraine’s defenders
March 3, 2022 – The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls upon the international community to support the brave women and men on the front lines of Ukraine’s fight for freedom. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the UWC has been supporting the defenders of Ukraine with equipment that will protect their lives while fighting for their country.
We invite you to join UWC’s #UniteWithUkraine campaign. The UWC is raising funds, procuring equipment and ensuring delivery to Ukraine’s freedom fighters as they protect their families, country, and liberty against Russia’s brutal invasion.
“Today, the Ukrainian people are standing with unwavering resolve to defend loved ones and their cherished values of freedom, democracy, and dignity,” says Paul Grod, UWC President. “Please give generously to support Ukraine’s freedom fighters.”
Purpose of the Fund
Funds raised will be used for supplying an evolving range of needs to people on the front line, including: IFAK – first aid kits; bullet-proof vests and helmets; night-vision goggles; communication equipment and fuel, among other things.
The UWC is also leading global coordination and logistics for the Ukrainian community and other NGO support efforts.
