On February 3, 2020, President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) Paul Grod congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, on the occasion of the first anniversary of His enthronement as Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The UWC President noted that the first year for the newly established Orthodox Church of Ukraine was marked by many success stories, including the unification of Orthodox communities in Ukraine in one Church and the achievement of international recognition, particularly by the Church of Greece.
“The Ukrainian World Congress congratulates His Beatitude, expresses gratitude for HIs cooperation and assures continued support for the benefit of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and Ukrainian faithful around the world.”
The UWC also extended greetings on His Beatitude’s birthday with wishes for good health and the strength to faithfully serve God and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
