LUHANSK-DONETSK LINE

Ukraine has yet again astonished the world with its superhuman operations around Severodonetsk.  Facing a concentration of half of the enemy’s deployed forces, Ukraine has held the invader back in Severodonetsk despite the enemy’s overwhelming weaponry and personnel advantages in terms of sheer numbers.  Although the US and UK have promised the delivery of longer-range multiple rocket systems, those crucial weapons are not yet in the field, limiting Ukraine’s ability to push the invaders back.

SOUTHERN UKRAINE

The intense concentration of enemy forces in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts has opened opportunities for Ukrainian forces in the southern front to put back the line of occupation in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya Oblasts. Map via Ukraine War Map

MELITOPOL

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov posted on Facebook that enemy occupiers have fled almost all checkpoints in the Melitopol district of southern Zaporizhzhya Oblast. In addition, Mr Fedorov confirmed that internet access is given only to people with Russian passports.

RUSSIAN LIES

In a scathing and brutally honest speech before the United Nations Security Council, European Council President Charles Michel pushed back hard against Russian lies and emphasized a litany of Russian war crimes.  Mr Michel denounced systematic rape, sexual violence and torture as Russian weapons of war. He held Russia solely responsible for the worsening food crisis as a result of the aggressor’s Black Sea blockade.  As the Russian ambassador stormed out in shame, Mr Michel said, “You may leave the room, maybe it’s easier not to listen to the truth, dear Ambassador.”
