For the first time since February, ship with Ukrainian grain arrived in Africa

Director of the United Nations World Food Program David Beasley informed on Twitter: “We have officially docked! The first World Food Programme ship to carry Ukrainian grain since February has just arrived in Djibouti. Now, let’s get this wheat offloaded and on to Ethiopia.”

Ukraine is strengthening the humanitarian part of the “Grain Corridor” initiative. On August 30, the second vessel chartered by the UN World Food Program to fight hunger in the world was dispatched. 37.5 thousand tons of wheat for Yemen, which is in a state of humanitarian disaster, is on board the bulk carrier KATERIA.
