Russians in occupied territories require Russian passports to issue insulin

The Russians in the temporarily occupied territories distribute insulin only to citizens with a Russian passport, the National Resistance Center reported.

“Such blackmail of diabetes mellitus patients is part of the enemy’s policy of forced Russification of the occupied lands. The Russians also refuse a medical examination to those who did not agree to receive a Russian passport,” the NRC writes.

Previously, insulin was issued only with a Russian passport in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Sugar-lowering drugs could not be obtained even by those Ukrainians who took them for their children.

Forced Russian passport acquisition also continues in the temporarily occupied Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians forced employees of budget enterprises to obtain a Russian document by October 1. Otherwise, the occupiers threaten the specialists with dismissal.

“The enemy masters explain such haste to start a new wave of mass mobilization in the region,” the NRC concluded.
