The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) announces the appointment of the leadership of its International Election Observer Mission to the parliamentary elections in Ukraine on 26 October 2014.
The Mission will be headed by UWC Third Vice President Peter Sztyk and the Chief Observer will be Olena Koszarny, member of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Advisory Board.
The goal of this Mission is to support an open and transparent electoral process in Ukraine by monitoring it in Ukraine and diplomatic missions throughout the world.
“I thank the newly appointed leadership of the Mission for taking on this responsibility at such a critical time and wish them much success,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
Applications for those interested in joining the Mission will be available on the UWC website in the coming days.
