UWC delegation arrives in Vilnius ahead of NATO Summit

Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Paul Grod and Regional Vice President Vira Konyk arrived in Vilnius on a working visit on the verge of the NATO Summit on 11-12 July.

“So many Ukrainian flags on display around the Lithuanian capital that I feel like I’m in Ukraine. Thank you to the people and government of Lithuania for their resounding support in symbols and deeds of Ukraine. We call upon all NATO leaders to make the right decision and offer Ukraine accession to NATO membership this week,” Grod shared his first impressions.

In the capital of Lithuania, the UWC President held a traditional meeting with the Ukrainian community focused on support for Ukraine in the most difficult times in its modern history.

With Vira Konyk, Paul Grod joined a community rally supporting Ukraine’s accession to NATO. He thanked active Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine for the numerous rallies on the city streets.

“I am convinced that Russia will fall. The question is when and how many losses Ukrainians will suffer. That is why NATO countries must grant Ukraine membership in NATO on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ukraine must be in NATO!” stated the UWC leader during the mass rally.

During the Summit, the UWC leadership is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with world politicians, diplomats, and community leaders from NATO member states.
