ECU calls for voting for pro-Ukrainian candidates in European Parliament elections

The European Congress of Ukrainians (ECU) calls on the European Union citizens to elect pro-Ukrainian candidates in the European Parliament elections, which will take place from June 6th to 9th. “Participate in the EP elections and support democracy and Ukraine!” the ECU wrote.

As part of its initiative, the ECU collaborated with the Austrian organization “Mrija,” which represents the European Ukrainian community, to host a joint event. Since April 21st, the Labyrinth of Freedom tour has been traveling across the central squares of major European cities. This mobile photo installation, titled “Save Europe: vote against Russian influence,” aims to raise awareness and mobilize support against Russian influence. The exhibition is scheduled to visit 28 EU member countries.

The campaign draws attention to the war in Ukraine and demonstrates the tragic consequences of political passivity.
