On the night of June 13, the Russian army attacked Kryvyi Rih. The occupiers launched six cruise missiles at the city with “high-precision” projectiles, one of which hit a five-story building.
“Throughout the night there were six missiles, five hit sites. None related to military [targets]. One apartment building, a warehouse with Coca-Cola, Fanta… other products, and nothing else [there],” Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, said.
Rescue operations continue; currently, we know of ten people killed and 28 injured. There is still a person under the rubble. The exact number of victims is being established.
As a result of the attack, high-rise buildings, residential houses, and some businesses and cars were significantly damaged. Many people lost their homes, Vilkul added.
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office has started a pre-trial investigation into Russia’s violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.
A large-scale air raid siren began at night at around 3 AM. Explosions were heard in several regions of Ukraine. The Russians launched 14 cruise missiles of the X-101/555 type, of which Ukrainian air defense destroyed 11. The occupiers also attacked using four unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
