A postage stamp “PTN PNH!” will be put into circulation on Feb. 24, one year after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine’s national postal operator Ukrposhta announced on Monday.
PTN PNH is a very popular euphemistic abbreviation that in Ukrainian stands for “Putin, go f… yourself!”
The postage stamp features a boy throwing Vladimir Putin to the ground in a judo match – a mural that world-renowned street artist and political activist Banksy painted in 2022 on the wall of a building destroyed by Russians in the Borodyanka, Kyiv Oblast.
The release of the new stamp at a circulation of 1,500,000 copies or 250,000 stamp sheets is part of a charity project. The stamp’s price, UAH 180, includes a UAH 42 charitable contribution.
A First Day envelope, an art envelope, a card, and a themed sweatshirt will accompany the stamp release.
