UWC President Eugene Czolij meets with representatives of Ukraine’s civil society
On 25-26 March 2014 Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij met in Kyiv with representatives of Ukraine’s civil society – leader of Third Ukrainian Republic Yuriy Lutsenko, president of the civic organization Center UA Oleh Rybachuk and a participant of the Civic Sector of EuroMaidan, Volodymyr Viatrovych.
Discussions included the continued cooperation between UWC and civic organizations in Ukraine.
The UWC President visited Kyiv’s EuroMaidan where he laid flowers in tribute to the heroes of the Nebesna Sotnia (Heaven’s squadron), attended the field chapel and met with Fr. Mykhailo Dudar.
“The Ukrainian World Congress will continue to work with Ukraine’s civic society in furthering the processes of democratization and Euro-integration of Ukraine,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
