The University of Warwick has launched an international online survey for Ukrainian social entrepreneurs living in Europe. The study is part of the project “Engaging the Global Ukrainian Community for Ukraine’s Recovery: Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship in Support of Regional and Local Authorities.”
The survey explores how Ukrainian social entrepreneurs contribute to Ukraine’s recovery. Researchers want to understand their transnational activities, how they integrate in host countries, and what ties they maintain with Ukraine. A key focus is their cooperation with Ukrainian local and regional authorities – what motivates it, what gets in the way, and what opportunities exist.
A social entrepreneur, in this context, is someone who builds initiatives with a clear social mission – not just for profit, but to create a positive impact on society.
The study is led by Prof. Maria Koinova of the University of Warwick, in collaboration with Dr. Muhammad Mohsin Hussain.
Taking part can make a real difference. The results will inform policies that open new opportunities for social entrepreneurs and strengthen their role in Ukraine’s reconstruction. The survey will help identify what already works, what is missing, and what creates barriers. It may also help build new partnerships between the Global Ukrainian Community and Ukrainian authorities.
The survey takes about 20 minutes and is available in seven languages: Ukrainian, English, German, Dutch, Czech, Polish, and Bulgarian. All answers are confidential. Participants may optionally enter a draw for a £50 Amazon gift card.
