Ukrainian World Congress expresses condolences to people of Italy in wake of devastating earthquake

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) and Ukrainians around the world express condolences to the Italian people following the powerful earthquake in Central Italy on 24 August 2016 resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.

The earthquake levelled structures among them numerous historical buildings, and thousands have been left homeless by this tragedy.

“The Ukrainian World Congress expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and prays for all of the victims of this natural disaster,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
