The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) and the 20-million strong Ukrainian diaspora support the people of Ukraine as they stand together against terrorism and remember the victims of the terrorist act in Volnovakha, Ukraine, during a Solidarity March on 18 January 2015 in Kyiv.
On 13 January 2015, a deliberate missile strike by terrorists from the so-called Donetsk people’s republic into a civilian bus near the Volnovakha checkpoint resulted in the deaths of 12 people and 18 injured.
“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the international community to put the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics on the list of terrorist organizations to prevent future loss of innocent life,” commented UWC President Eugene Czolij.
