Enemy’s two attack helicopters Ka-52 “Alligator” were shot down between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. today in Kherson Oblast’s Beryslav District by units of the Odesa and Kherson antiaircraft missile brigades, the Southern Air Command reported.
“Without a lunch break!” the Command’s PR service jokingly says.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion on Feb. 24, Ukrainian forces have downed a total of 245 enemy choppers, according to data from the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Staff as of Oct. 24. At least two will be added to the count tomorrow.
